Set AutoFlow Sequences

  1. From the Master Files - System list, select Autoflow Sequences.
    The AutoFlow Sequences List window opens.

  2. Do one of the following:
    • To add a new item, select open menu , and then select New.
    • To modify an existing item, select the item in the list, select open menu , and then select Open. You can also double-click to open the item.
    The Autoflow Sequence Information window displays the items that are included in the flow.

    The Form Templates section, Label Templates section, or both display if you add Print Forms or Print Labels to the Screen/Item list.

  3. To add or remove items from the Screen/Item list, select to change the selections, and then select OK.
    • To add an item, select it in the Available list, then select .

      The item moves from the Available list to the Included list.

    • To remove an item, select it in the Included list, then select .

      The item moves from the Included list to the Available list.

  4. For items you want to display in NextGen® Enterprise PM when a chart is created or to display regardless of whether self payment is due, select in the appropriate column for those items:
    • Perform only when creating a chart column - This option pertains to the Print Labels item and to the items related to patient information and chart details.
    • Perform even if self payment is not due column - This option pertains to Payment Entry and Encounter Bill autoflow items.
    A displays in the column. If the column is not relevant to the item, you cannot select the column.
  5. If the Form Templates section, Label Templates section, or both display, select the Print column to indicate which templates will automatically print.
    If no labels are selected to print, the Print window displays during AutoFlow so users can select the labels they want to print.
  6. To change the order of the items in the flow, select an item row to highlight it, then do one of the following:
    • Select Promote or Demote to move the item up or down in the list.
    • Select the double up/down arrow to move the item to the top or bottom of the list.
  7. Apply the sequences to the appropriate locations.
