Use the NDC library to create new NDC libraries or modify existing libraries.
Refer to the Importing a CSV File into the NDC Library procedure for instructions on how to import NDC codes from a Microsoft Excel® file.
- In File Maintenance, click Libraries from the List Launcher or the menu bar and then click NDC.
The NDC List window opens.
- From the NDC List window, do one of the following:
- To add a new item, click Open Menu
, and then click New.
- To modify an item, select the library that you want to open and then click Open Menu
or double-click the selection.
Note: The library with the green check mark

is the default library for the practice.
The NDC List Maintenance window opens.
- To search for an existing NDC code, use the Filter Criteria section and click one of the following options:
- Enter or modify the NDC information according to the following table. You can enter NDC data by doing one of the following:
- Manually entering data records
- Creating a comma delimited file in Excel® and importing the data into the library.
Note: You can sort the NDC ID, CPT4, Eff Date, Exp Date, and NDC Description columns in ascending

or descending

order.
- Click OK.
