Viewing Account Properties Information

You can view the person's basic demographic information on the Properties tab of a person's Account Profile window. The Properties tab consists of the following: Account Demographics To view and modify contact information, contact preferences, insurance information, and correspondence language. Account Settings To view and modify information related to account statements and collections. Family Information To view and modify family information such as family size and annual income. This section is available only if the Head Of Household is set for the account. You can use this section to assign sliding fee schedules to the head of the household Account Profile-Properties tab Set up Statement and Collection Information for Accounts You can use the Properties tab under the Account Profile window to set up Account Settings information for statements and collections. Create Person Accounts from People Lookup

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Lookup. The People Lookup window opens. In the Search Criteria section, enter the person's information and then selectFind. Person records that match the search criteria appear in the Matching Records section. Select the person, and then selectOpen. The Modify Person Information window opens. Note: When you select the patient, the Update Patient Information window opens. Verify that the demographics, billing address, and contact information are complete. SelectAccount. A message appears asking you for confirmation to create the account. Select OK. The person account is created and the Account Profile window opens. Search for Accounts

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Task Menu menu, select Lookup > Accounts. The Account Lookup window opens. To search for an account, enter the search criteria data, and then select Find. Note: You can use different combinations of the search criteria to search for an account Person and employer accounts that match the search criteria appear in the Account List section of the Account Lookup window. Create Employer Accounts from Employer Lookup

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Tasks menu, select Lookup > Employers. The Employer Lookup window opens. In the Search Criteria section, enter the employer’s information and then select Find. Employer records that match the search criteria appear in the Matching Records section. Right-click the employer, and then select Open. The Employer Maintenance window opens. Verify that the demographics, billing address, and contact information are completed. Select Account. The employer account is created and the Account Profile window opens. Set Active Status for Accounts

An account set as the active account is available for quick access when you work with other account profiles. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Tasks menu, select Lookup > Accounts. The Account Lookup window opens. To search for a person account, enter the search criteria data, and then select Find. You can use different combinations of the search criteria to search for a person's account. Accounts that match the search criteria, appear in the Account List section. Double-click a person account. The Account Profile window opens. Select open menu , and then select Set Active Account. Set Active Account option The current account is set as the active account. Access Active Accounts

You can select an active account from the toolbar of the current account. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Tasks menu, select Lookup > Accounts. The Account Lookup window opens. To search for an account, enter the search criteria data, and then select Find You can use different combinations of the search criteria to search for a person's account. Accounts that match the search criteria, appear in the Account List section. Double-click a person account. The Account Profile window opens. Select open menu , and then select Access Active Account.
