Set Up Practice Preferences for Multi-Language Letters

Enabling multi-language for a letter type allows you to preview and print letters in the patient's preferred correspondence language. This option is available when Enable multi-language for PM is selected on the Enterprise Preferences > General tab.

  1. Access NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. From the Admin menu, select Preferences, and then Practice.
    The Practice Preferences window opens.
  3. From the Preference List, select Forms.

  4. In the Enable Multi-Language Letters field, select one or more of the following supported letter types.
    • Appointment Reminder
    • Budget Letter (All)
    • Demand Account
    • Demand Encounter
    • Recall

    After you select one or more letter types, then the link displays on the Demographics tab of the Patient/Person Information window.

  5. To save changes and close the window, select OK.
