Assign Practice-Level AutoFlow Sequences

You can assign AutoFlow sequences to specific locations for the practice in Practice Preferences. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice > AutoFlow > Sequences tab. To apply an AutoFlow Sequence for check-in or when a user creates an encounter, do one of the following in the AutoFlow Sequences for menu option "Check-in/Create Encounter" section: For all locations, select a sequence in the All Locations row. For a specific location, select a sequence in the location's row. To apply an AutoFlow Sequence for check-out, repeat the previous step in the AutoFlow Sequences for menu option "Checkout" section. AutoFlow Practice Preferences

The AutoFlow Practice Preferences enable you to select an Autoflow Sequences Master File that contains a series of actions for processing encounters during check-in and check-out processes. You can apply a sequence to all locations or to individual ones. You can also set default user preferences for autoflow that override these practice-level settings. Create or Modify an AutoFlow Sequence

You must create an AutoFlow Sequences master file for each AutoFlow sequence that the practice uses. AutoFlow sequences enable you to set the sequence for a series of actions that process encounters for patient check-in and check-out. After you create the AutoFlow sequences, you must assign them to each practice location in Practice Preferences or User Preferences. Access File Maintenance. Select System Master Files, then PM, and then AutoFlow Sequences. The AutoFlow Sequences List window opens. Do one of the following: To add a new item, select the open menu button, and then select New. To modify an existing item, select the item in the list, select the Open Menu button, and then select Open. You can also double-click to open the item. The Autoflow Sequence Information window opens and displays the items that are included in the sequence. Autoflow Sequences Master File

You can add the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment workflow to a check-in or check-out AutoFlow Sequence in the AutoFlow Sequences master file in File Maintenance. By adding this workflow, you can ensure that the patient is enrolled to NextGen® PxP Portal during check-in or check-out in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Set up Chart Preferences

You can configure specific areas of a patient chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Admin menu, select Preferences > User > General. The User Preferences window opens. Select the Chart tab.
