Scheduling Reports

The Scheduling reports category includes various reports that you can use to review appointment information for patients in your practice. The reports can help you monitor and manage appointments and assist with your internal scheduling processes in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The following reports are available from the Reports > Scheduling menu: Appointments Listing Daily Appointments Day Timer First Third Available Kept Appointments w/ No Charges Multi Resource Statistical Analysis of Appointments Wait List Appointments Listing Report Daily Appointments Report Day Timer Report First Third Available Report Kept Appointments with No Charges Report The Kept Appointments with No Charges report shows patients that kept an appointment but had no charges entered. Kept Appointments with No Charges Report

The Kept Appointments with No Charges report shows patients that kept an appointment but had no charges entered. It is sorted by: Resource name Beginning time The report provides no totals. The application provides the option to show the patient chart balance (the total balance due for that patient chart) on the report and enables you to sort by the chart balance. You can show the patient self balance ( Pat Slf Bal) , which is that portion of the total balance due for which the patient is responsible. To access the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Reports menu and select Scheduling and the select Kept Appointments w/no Charges. First Third Available Report

The First Third Available Appointment report helps a practice identify the average number of days a patient must wait to see a resource for a specific type of appointment. The third next available appointment is used instead of the next available appointment because it is a more realistic depiction of how many days a patient would have to wait to see a provider. A measurement of only the next available appointment can easily be changed due to cancelations or other unexpected events. The settings you choose in Practice Preferences and Scheduling Administration determine the next third available appointment for the desired combination of patient, resource, and event. To access the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Reports menu and select Scheduling and then select First Third Available. Wait List Report

The Wait List report provides a listing of patients in the practice that are on a wait list. It differs from the Appointment Wait List Process report, because it shows all patients on a wait list, not just the Wait List Items that matched an open slot on the appointment schedule. Information from this report can help determine why a match wasn't found or which patients have been on a wait list for a long time.
