Print Itemized Statements on Demand

You can generate and print an Itemized Statement on demand from the Patient Chart > Financial tab. This statement include all encounters for the patient or only specific encounters based on selected filter criteria. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Chart or Chart Lookup . The Patient Lookup window opens. In the Search Criteria section, enter the patient's information, and then select Find. Patient records that match the search criteria appear in the Matching Records section. Select the patient, and then select Open. The Patient Chart window opens. Select the Financial tab. All encounters for the patient are listed in the Financial Information section. To generate a statement, do one of the following: To generate a statement that includes all encounters for the patient, select Print. To generate a statement that includes only specific encounters, filter the encounters on the Financial tab, and then select Print. The Itemized Statement preview window opens. To pri

Generate and Print Patient Statements

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Chart, and then in Patient Lookup, enter your search criteria, and then select Find. Matching people and patient records appear in the search results. In Matching Records, select a patient record , and then select Open. The Patient Information tab opens in the Patient Chart window. Select the Financial tab. All patient encounters with payment details from primary, secondary, or tertiary insurance appear. To generate a statement, do one of the following: To generate the statement with all encounters, select Print. To generate the statement with specific encounters, select Filter, enter your search criteria, select Search, and then select Print. The Itemized Statement preview window opens. Print or Export an Account Statement from Account Lookup

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Account. The Account Lookup window opens. Select the desired account in the Search Criteria section. Select Find. In the Account List section, right-click on the account, and then select Print > Statements. The Guarantor Statement window opens. The default settings on the Guarantor Statement > General tab are pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements. Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed. Note: The Enterprise, Practice, Location and Provider filter tabs are not available when printing an individual demand account statement. Do one of the following: To print the statement, select Print. To create an ASCII export file and to be sent to a third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing), select Export. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Account. The Account Lookup window opens. Select the desired account in the Search Criteria section. Select Find. In the Account List section, right-click on the account, and then select Print > Statements. The Guarantor Statement window opens. The default settings on the Guarantor Statement > General tab are pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements. Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed. Note: The Enterprise, Practice, Location and Provider filter tabs are not available when printing an individual demand account statement. One or more encounter bills can be printed for patients from the Encounter Lookup window. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the main toolbar, select the Encounter button. The Encounter Lookup window opens. Enter the Search Criteria fields to locate the desired encounter. Select Find. Encounters that match the search criteria display in the Encounter List section of the window. Select Encounter List, and then select the encounter. Right-click the encounter, and then select Print. Select Encounter Bill. The Itemized Bill for Encounter window (individual) or the Itemized Bills window (batch) appears. Review the default Itemized Bill Options and make modifications, if needed. Note: The default settings are from Practice Preferences > Itemized Bills. Select Preview to preview the encounter bills on the window prior to printing. Select Preview to print the encounter bills, select Print. The encounter bill is automatically sent to the printer defined in Practice Preferences > Printing. If the
