Print Itemized Statements

You can generate and print an itemized statement on demand from the Encounters Detail tab of the Account Profile window. The statement can include all encounters for the account or only specific encounters based on selected filter criteria.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. From the Tasks menu, select Lookup > Accounts.
    The Account Lookup window opens.
  3. To search for a person account, enter the search criteria data, and then select Find.
    You can use different combinations of the search criteria to search for a person's account.
    Accounts that match the search criteria appear in the Account List section.
  4. Double-click a person account.
    The Account Profile window opens.
  5. Select the Encounters Detail tab.
    All patients linked to the account appear in the Guarantor Information section.
  6. To list all encounters for a patient, double-click the patient.
  7. To generate a statement, do one of the following:
    • To generate a statement that includes all encounters for the patient, select Print.
    • To generate a statement that includes only specific encounters, filter encounters on the Financial tab, and then select Print.
    The Itemized Statement preview window opens.
  8. To print the statement, on the toolbar, do one of the following:
    • To select a printer, page range or number of copies for the statement, select Print Dialog Print Dailog icon .
    • To use the default printer for the statement, select Quick Print Quick Print icon .
  9. To close the Itemized Statement preview window, select Close Preview Close Preview Window icon .
    An Itemized Statement Printed Chart significant event is recorded on the Chart folder from the History topic of the Clinical History/Notes tab in the Patient Chart.
