Generate and Print Patient Statements

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. On the main toolbar, select Chart, and then in Patient Lookup, enter your search criteria, and then select Find.
    Matching people and patient records appear in the search results.
  3. In Matching Records, select a patient record , and then select Open.
    The Patient Information tab opens in the Patient Chart window.
  4. Select the Financial tab.
    All patient encounters with payment details from primary, secondary, or tertiary insurance appear.
  5. To generate a statement, do one of the following:
    • To generate the statement with all encounters, select Print.
    • To generate the statement with specific encounters, select Filter, enter your search criteria, select Search, and then select Print.
    The Itemized Statement preview window opens.
  6. To print the statement, do one of the following:
    • To select a printer, and page range or number of copies for the statement, select Print Dialog .
    • To use the default printer, select Quick Print .
  7. On the toolbar, select Close Preview .
    The Itemized Statement Printed Chart significant event is recorded in Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes > History > Chart.
  8. To print the patient fee tickets, right-click an encounter, and then select Print > Fee Tickets, and then select Print.
    A message notifies you that the fee ticket printing is in progress.
