Print or Export an Account Statement from Account Lookup

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. Select Account.
    The Account Lookup window opens.
  3. Select the desired account in the Search Criteria section.
  4. Select Find.
  5. In the Account List section, right-click on the account, and then select Print > Statements.
    The Guarantor Statement window opens.

    The default settings on the Guarantor Statement > General tab are pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements.

  6. Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed.
  7. Do one of the following:
    • To print the statement, select Print.
    • To create an ASCII export file and to be sent to a third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing), select Export.
  8. If the Update Last Statement Dates check box is selected, a message appears asking if the statements printed or exported correctly.
  9. Do one of the following:
    1. If the statement prints or exports correctly, select Yes.
      The following parameters are updated on the Account Profile > Properties tab:
      • Last Statement Print Date
      • Next Statement Print Date
      • Statement Counter

      The account does not qualify for another statement until the account again meets or exceeds the Number of Days between Statements defined in Practice Preferences > Statements.

      A Statements Printed or Statements Exported significant event is also recorded in the History folder on the Account Profile > Notes tab, and in the History topic on the Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab.

    2. If the statement did not print or export correctly, select No.
      The parameters listed above are not updated.
