Print or Export an Account Statement from the Account Profile

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. Select Account.
    The Account Lookup window opens.
  3. Enter Search Criteria to locate the desired account.
  4. Select Find.
  5. From the search results in the Account List section, double-click to open the account.
    The Account Profile window opens.
  6. From the main toolbar, select the Statements button.
    The Guarantor Statement window opens.
    The default settings on the Guarantor Statement > General tab are from pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements.

  7. Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed.
  8. Do one of the following:
    • To print the statement, select Print.
    • To create an ASCII export file to be sent to a third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing), select Export.
  9. When the Update Last Statement Dates check box is selected, a message appears that the statements are printed or exported correctly.
  10. Do one of the following:
    1. If the statement printed or exported correctly, select Yes.
      The following parameters are updated on the Account Profile > Properties tab:
      • Last Statement Print Date
      • Next Statement Print Date
      • Statement Counter

      The account will not qualify for another statement until it again meets or exceeds the Number of Days between Statements defined in Practice Preferences > Statements.

      A Statements Printed or Statements Exported significant event is also recorded in the History folder on the Account Profile > Notes tab, and in the History topic on the Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab.

    2. If the statement did not print or export correctly, select No.
      The parameters listed above are not updated.
