Print or Export an Account Statement from the Account Profile
- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- Select Account.
The Account Lookup window opens.
- Enter Search Criteria to locate the desired account.
- Select Find.
- From the search results in the Account List section, double-click to open the account.
The Account Profile window opens.
- From the main toolbar, select the Statements button.
The Guarantor Statement window opens.The default settings on the Guarantor Statement > General tab are from pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements.
- Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed.
Note: The Enterprise, Practice, Location and Provider filter tabs are not available when printing an individual demand account statement.
- Do one of the following:
- To print the statement, select Print.
- To create an ASCII export file to be sent to a third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing), select Export.
- When the Update Last Statement Dates check box is selected, a message appears that the statements are printed or exported correctly.
- Do one of the following:
- If the statement printed or exported correctly, select Yes.
The following parameters are updated on the Account Profile > Properties tab:
- Last Statement Print Date
- Next Statement Print Date
- Statement Counter
The account will not qualify for another statement until it again meets or exceeds the Number of Days between Statements defined in Practice Preferences > Statements.
A Statements Printed or Statements Exported significant event is also recorded in the History folder on the Account Profile > Notes tab, and in the History topic on the Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab.
Note: Significant events must be enabled from the Admin > Preferences > Significant Events menu. - If the statement did not print or export correctly, select No.
The parameters listed above are not updated.
- If the statement printed or exported correctly, select Yes.
