Print Itemized Bills from Encounter Lookup
One or more encounter bills can be printed for patients from the Encounter Lookup window.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- From the main toolbar, select the Encounter button.
The Encounter Lookup window opens.
- Enter the Search Criteria fields to locate the desired encounter.
- Select Find.
Encounters that match the search criteria display in the Encounter List section of the window.
- Select Encounter List, and then select the encounter.
- Right-click the encounter, and then select Print.
- Select Encounter Bill.
The Itemized Bill for Encounter window (individual) or the Itemized Bills window (batch) appears.
- Review the default Itemized Bill Options and make modifications, if needed.
Note: The default settings are from Practice Preferences > Itemized Bills.
- Select Preview to preview the encounter bills on the window prior to printing.
- Select Preview to print the encounter bills, select Print.
The encounter bill is automatically sent to the printer defined in Practice Preferences > Printing. If the user has specified a different printer in their General User Preferences > Printing, it overrides the printer defined in Practice Preferences.
