Mark Individual Member Appointments in a Group Appointment as Kept
As patients arrive for a group appointment, you can open the group appointment and mark multiple member appointments as kept, rather than opening each appointment to mark them as kept. In addition, you can use the kept indicators within the group appointment to easily track which members have arrived and which ones have not. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select ApptBook. Select the Group Check-in icon. The group modal window opens. Select the individual member(s) you would like to mark as kept and add to the group encounter. Select Add to Group Encounter. Each selected member's appointment will automatically be marked as kept and added to the group encounter Parent topic: Modify a Group Appointment

Modify a Group Appointment
You can modify a group appointment if needed. Any modifications made to a group appointment will automatically update the associated individual member appointments with the same changes. You can also manage whether other group appointments in a recurring series should be updated with the same information. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select ApptBook. Select the Group Check-in icon. The group modal window opens. Select the member's individual appointment. Right-click and then select Open > Group Appointment. In Edit Appointment, update the required details. Select OK. Select Yes. In Reason for appointment reschedule, select a reason from the drop-down list and then select OK. The Update Recurring Group Appointments window opens. In Group Recurrences, do the following: Select the checkbox for recurring group appointments that should be updated with the same modifications. View Appointments for the Active Patient
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Do one of the following: From the main toolbar, select Chart. Select Tasks > Lookup > Charts. In the Patient Lookup window, enter search criteria and select Find. Do one of the following: From the main toolbar, select Appointments. Select Tasks > Lookup > Appointments. In the Appointment Lookup window, select the arrow next to Find, and then select Access Active Patient.The Appointment List section of the Appointment Lookup window displays appointments for the active patient. Access a Patient Chart from a Group Appointment
From the Edit Group Appointment window, you can access the chart for a member in the patient group. Open the Appointment Book. From the Daily, Weekly List, Weekly Schedule, or Multi-View view, select an individual appointment that was scheduled as part of a group appointment. Select the group appointment. Select the individual appointment you want to update. Right-click the individual appointment, and then select Open > Group Appointment. The Edit Group Appointment window opens. The Patient Group field on the left displays the name of the group linked to the group appointment. The Associated Member Appointments section on the right displays all members in the patient group. To open the chart for a member in the group, select to highlight the member, and then select Open Menu and select View Chart for Selected Member. The Patient Chart window opens. View Appointments for a Previous Person or Patient
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Do one of the following: From the main toolbar, select Chart. Select Tasks > Lookup > Charts. In the Patient Lookup window, enter search criteria and select Find. Do one of the following: From the main toolbar, select Appointments. Select Tasks > Lookup > Appointments. In the Appointment Lookup window, select the arrow next to Find, and then select Access Previous Patient.The last five recently-opened patient records appear. Enroll a Patient in Enterprise Chart
From the main toolbar in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Lookup. In the Patient Lookup window, do one of the following:. For a new patient, select New. For an existing patient, search for and select the patient record, select the open menu icon, and then select Open. In the Add Patient Information or Modify Patient Information window, enter or update the information as needed. Select the Enterprise Chart checkbox. Select OK. The patient is enrolled in Enterprise Chart. Note: For a patient newly enrolled in Enterprise Chart, you may need to reopen the patient's chart to view information from other practices.
