Memorizing Reports
You can memorize reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM and File Maintenance, so they always generate data using your preferred settings and format. Memorizing a report prevents you from having to select the same columns, filters, sorting and grouping on the Report Filter window each time you generate a frequently used report. It is important to note that memorizing a report saves your selected settings and format, but not the actual data on the report.
Before memorizing reports, you must first create report categories in the Report Types master file in File Maintenance. When you memorize a report, you are required to save it to a specific report type. Examples might include Front Office Reports, Back Office Reports and Management Reports. After reports have been memorized in NextGen® Enterprise PM, you can access and run them from the Reports button on the main toolbar, or from the menu.
Reports that have been memorized in File Maintenance can be accessed and run from the
menu.Memorized reports can also be run from the NextGen® Background Business Processor. For more information, refer to the User Guide for NextGen Background Business Processor.
