Memorize a Report

Access NextGen® Enterprise PM or File Maintenance and then select a report to memorize. The Report Filter window opens. From the Settings List, select the desired columns, filters, and sorting for the report. Do one of the following: To generate the report before memorizing it, select OK. The report displays on screen. From the report toolbar, select Memorize Report To memorize the report without generating it, select Save. The Memorize Report window opens. In the Save As field, enter a name for the memorized report. This field is required. In the Report Type field, select a report type category to save the memorized report in. This field is required. Note: Report Types are created in File Maintenance for each practice. Set up user access to the memorized report: In the Allowed to Run field, select users or security groups who can run the memorized report. Leave blank if all users can run the report. NextGen Care® Population Management Hub uses existing patient level NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM reports. You can also create new memorized reports. Report Snapshots in Population Management Hub

Reports can be created in NextGen® Enterprise PM using specific filters and qualifying criteria to identify a specific patient population, and then saved as a report snapshot. These report snapshots can be accessed in NextGen® Enterprise EHR from the Population Management Hub > Cohorts tab and used to generate a patient list for outreach purposes, such as sending messages via NextGen Care® Outreach or NextGen® PxP Portal. Cohorts

You can access the list of saved NextGen Care® Population Management Hub reports on the Cohorts tab. The following reports are available: NextGen® Enterprise EHR memorized reports. NextGen® Enterprise PM memorized reports. NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM report snapshots. You can sort the data available in Cohorts by selecting on the column header. You can view the patient clinical information in Care Opportunities, only if you have permission to access patient's data. Note: In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, only patient level NextGen® Enterprise PM reports are available. After you set up a report with the filters that best fit your practice, you can save the memorized report settings so that they are available for use again. You do not have to run the report to memorize it. Memorizing a report saves the report parameters, not the actual data. Each time you run the memorized report, the report format remains the same but it always contains the current information from the database. NextGen® Enterprise PM memorizes date ranges in different ways, depending on the following criteria: If you use criteria like current month or month to date, then NextGen® Enterprise PM uses your server's current date to set the date range. This is referred to as a smart date. If you enter a custom date, then NextGen® Enterprise PM remembers that date and uses it to pull the report data. Both NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR reports can be memorized. Once memorized, you can run a report from the list of memorized reports without the need to reconfigure the r

Create Memorized Reports

Depending on whether you want to create a NextGen® Enterprise or NextGen® Enterprise PM report, set up the report by defining the columns and filters to produce the desired format and results. Note: If you want to open the NextGen® Enterprise PM reports in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, then you must ensure to create only the patient level NextGen® Enterprise PM memorized reports. Ensure the report meets your requirements, select Save on the Report Filter. If you want to verify the report prior to saving, run the report. Review the report, and then select Memorize Report . The Memorize Report window opens. Note: Save results for notification does not appear when memorizing NextGen® Enterprise PM reports. In Save As, enter the name of your report. If you are changing an existing memorized report, the original information automatically appears. In Report Type, select a report type.
