Mark an Appointment as Kept

An appointment is automatically marked as kept when an encounter is created and linked to the appointment during the Checkin/Create Encounter auto-flow process. You can also mark an appointment as kept without linking an encounter to it.

  1. Open the Appointment Book window.
  2. Select the appointment to be marked as kept.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the appointment and select Mark as Kept.
    • Open the appointment and select the Appointment Kept option on the Edit Appointment window.
  4. Select OK to save changes and close the window.
    The appointment status is changed to Kept and the appointment is crossed-out on the schedule.
