When a patient arrives for a group appointment, you can mark their individual member appointments as Kept from the Group Checkin/Create Encounter window. This enables you to open a single group appointment and mark the arrived members as kept rather than opening individual appointment and marking them. The kept indicator helps you to distinguish between members who have arrived and group member who have not arrived.
- Select ApptBook on the main toolbar.
- From the Daily, Weekly List, Weekly Schedule or Multi-View view, select an individual appointment that was scheduled as part of a group appointment.
- Right-click and then select .
The
Group Checkin/Create Encounter window opens.
The Group Checkin/Create Encounter window displays all members of the Patient Group in alphabetical order.
Note: A tool-tip appears when you hover over a member on the
Group Checkin/Create Encounter window which displays patient information such as patient name and date of birth.
The member shown in red is an expired patient.
- To mark a member’s appointment as kept, do one of the following:
- In Search, search for specific members in the patient group and select the relevant check boxes
- Select the already displayed member check boxes
- Do one of the following:
- To save changes without closing the window, select Save.
- To save changes and close the window, select Save and then select Close.
The members who have arrived for the group appointment are marked as kept and status of the member appointment is updated as Kept in the Appointment Book.
