You can add a group member to an existing group encounter during the group check in. If a group encounter was already created for the checked in members, and if another patient arrives for the appointment, you can add those patients to the existing group encounter.
- Select ApptBook on the main toolbar.
- From the Daily, Weekly List, Weekly Schedule or Multi-View view, select an individual appointment that was scheduled as part of a group appointment.
- Right-click and then select .
The
Group Checkin/Add to Existing Group Encounter window opens.
- On the Group Checkin/Add to Existing Group Encounter window, select the scheduled member to be added to the group encounter.
- Select Add to Existing.
An individual encounter is created for the selected
Scheduled Member and linked to the member’s appointment.
Encounter number appears on the Encounter column of the Group Checkin/Add to Existing Group Encounter window.
- Select Close.
The member appointments are added to the existing group encounter. The status of the member appointments are updated as Kept in Appointment Book.
