Add a Member to an Existing Group Encounter

You can add a member to an existing group encounter if needed. For example, a group encounter was already created from a group appointment for all patients that were marked as kept, and then another patient arrives for the appointment. You can add that patient to the existing group encounter.

  1. Access the Appointment Book.
  2. From the Daily, Weekly List, Weekly Schedule or Multi-View view, select an individual appointment that was scheduled as part of a group appointment.
  3. Right-click and then select Open > Group Appointment.
    The Edit Group Appointment window opens.
  4. In the Associated Member Appointments section on the right, select to select the appointment for the member to be added to the group encounter.
  5. Select Open Menu and then select Add to Existing Group Enc.
  6. An individual encounter is created for the member, the encounter is linked to the member's appointment, and the encounter number appears in the Associated Member Appointments section of the Edit Group Appointment window.
