Before you begin
To associate the group encounter to the members, group encounters for the patient group must be created.
You can link the existing group encounter to a group appointment when you check in a group appointment through the Available Group Encounters window.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- On the main toolbar, select ApptBook.
- From the Daily, Weekly List, Weekly Schedule or Multi-View view, select the group.
- Select the individual appointment.
- To associate all the scheduled members to available group encounter, right-click the selected appointment, and then select .
The
Available Group Encounters window opens.
- In Available Group Encounters, do one of the following:
- Select the available group encounter and select Select.
- To create a new group encounter, select Cancel
The existing group encounter is associated to all scheduled members of the patient group and encounter numbers are created and appear on the Edit Group Appointment window.
