Managing the Patient Information Bar

You can view the Patient Information Bar in the maximized or minimized state. The Patient Information Bar appears in the maximized or expanded view by default, displaying all the configured patient information.

The Patient Information Bar is organized in the following sections:
  • General information
  • Demographics information
  • Encounter information

In the patient chart, the Patient Information Bar also includes the Patient Chart Lookup and Open Menu buttons.

  • Viewing Patient General Information You can view the patient's general information such as name, contact details, and contact preference from the patient information bar.
  • Viewing Demographics Information You can view the patient's demographic information such as sex, age, and medical record number from the patient information bar.
  • Viewing Encounter Information You can view the encounter information on the Patient Information Bar on the Encounter tab of a patient chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
