Managing Tasks with Enterprise Worklog Manager

Just like the standard Worklog Manager, the Enterprise Worklog Manager window displays a list of tasks based on the search criteria entered. View the search results in the Task List pane based on the Search Criteria you have entered under General and Advanced tab.

The Task List includes the columns that are always displayed and configurable columns as well. The columns that are always displayed in the Task List are as follows:

Create DateSource Name
Completion DateSource Nbr
Completion ReasonSource Type
Due DateStatus
Expiration DateSubject
Follow Up DateTask Type
Priority 

Columns available for selection include Approval Amt, Invoice Aging Days, Last Patient Pay Date, Payer and so on. You can access the complete list of selectable columns within the Worklog Manager Column display pane under the Tasks tab of the User Preferences window.

The columns displayed in Task List can be displayed in the order of your choice. To rearrange the order of the columns, select and hold the header of the column that you want to move, and then drag the selected column horizontally to the desired position.

The following table explains the fields on the Enterprise Worklog Manager window:

To select all or clear all the list items selected for the fields mentioned below, select the lists and right-click and then select Select All or Deselect All.

Task TypeSelect the task type you want to locate.
SubjectEnter the subject of the tasks you want to locate.
StatusSelect the status of the tasks you want to locate.
PrioritySelect the priority of the tasks you want to locate.
Task Subgrouping 1 & 2These fields are user-defined fields and will have a different name on your Enterprise Worklog Manager window.

The label that displays for these Task Subgrouping fields are entered in Enterprise Preferences. The values for the fields that users can select are entered in the Task Subgroupings Master List in File Maintenance. The Task Subgrouping values enable users to categorize tasks into smaller, more manageable sub-groups.

Assigned ToSelect the user assigned to the tasks you want to locate.
Source TypeSelect the Source Type of the tasks you want to locate.
Employer/Last NameSelect the employer or the last name of the patient associated to the tasks you want to locate.
First NameSelect the first name of the patient associated to the tasks you want to locate.
LocationSelect the location associated to the tasks you want to locate.
Approval BySelect the user responsible for approving the tasks you want to locate.
PracticeSelect the practice associated to the tasks you want to locate.
Financial ClassSelect the financial class of the payer associated to the tasks you want to locate.
Rendering PhysicianSelect the rendering provider associated to the tasks you want to locate.
Primary PayerSelect the primary payer associated to the tasks you want to locate.
Account Bal >You can search tasks by the account balance. Type or select the minimum account balance that tasks must have.
Encounter Bal >You can search tasks by the encounter balance. Type or select the minimum encounter balance that tasks must have.
Create DateYou can search for tasks by the date when the task is created. Select the Calendar icon to select From and Thru dates for the task(s) you want to locate.
Follow Up DateYou can search for tasks by the task follow up date. Select the date range for task(s) you want to locate.
Include Expired TasksSelect this check box to include expired tasks in the Task List.
Show Tasks in My Approval QueueSelect this check box to display a list of all tasks currently in your Approval Queue that are pending approval.
