Integrate Outlook Mail with NextGen Mail
To integrate your Microsoft® Outlook mail with your NextGen Mail, do the following:
- Access NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- From the Admin menu, select Preferences, then User, and then General.
The User Preferences window appears.
- Select the General tab.
- In the Mail Options section, select the Logon to Outlook Mail at startup check box.
- For Default, select one of the following:
- NextGen: Select this button if NextGen Mail is used most often.
- Outlook: Select this button if Outlook Mail is used most often.
- To save changes and close the window, select OK.
- Log out and then log back in to NextGen® Enterprise PM for the changes to take effect.
Note: If the Logon to Outlook Mail at startup check box is not selected and the Outlook button is selected as the default, then your Outlook mail does not display in NextGen® Enterprise PM. NextGen Mail will be used as the default in this situation.

You can send a mail message to both NextGen users and Outlook users from within NextGen® Enterprise PM. -
You can transfer appointments and to-do list items from NextGen® Enterprise PM to Microsoft® Outlook.
