Creating Tasks for NextGen® Enterprise

You can generate tasks to be sent to users in NextGen® Enterprise from within NextGen® Enterprise PM in the following areas:

• Patient Chart > Encounters tab: Right-click an encounter and select EHR Tasks from the menu.
• Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab > Tasks topic: Right-click and select New EHR Tasks from the menu.
• Encounter Lookup: Right-click an encounter and select EHR Tasks from the menu.
• Tasks menu > Create EHR Task

After the new task is sent to NextGen® Enterprise, it no longer displays in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The tasks can be viewed only within NextGen® Enterprise.
