Open a patient chart and from the Encounters tab, right-click an encounter and select EHR Tasks from the menu.
Open a patient chart and from the Clinical History/Notes tab, right-click on Tasks under Topics and select New EHR Tasks from the menu.
From the Encounter Lookup window, right-click an encounter, and then select EHR Tasks from the menu.
Select Tasks menu > Create EHR Task.
The Add EHR Task window opens.
Enter the necessary details in the required fields, and then select OK.
After the new task is sent to NextGen® Enterprise, it no longer displays in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The tasks can be viewed only within NextGen® Enterprise.
