After the patient confirms the appointment, you can mark the appointment as confirmed on the Edit Appointment window. A telephone
icon appears next to confirmed appointments in the Daily view tab of the Appointment Book window.
Note: Automated voice reminder interfaces are available with NextGen® EDI, PhoneTree, TeleVox, SmartTalk, and CIMA. One-way interfaces send appointment information from NextGen® Enterprise PM to the vendor. Bi-directional interfaces send appointment information to the vendor and confirmation information back to NextGen® Enterprise PM.
