Appointment Lookup Search Criteria
The following table describes the fields that are available in the Search Criteria section of the Appointment Lookup window:
Field | Description |

Last | You must enter the patient's last name. |
First/Preferred | You must enter the patient's first name or preferred name. |
Middle | You must enter the patient's middle name. |
Suffix | You must select the patient's last name suffix.

Date of Birth | You must enter the patient's birth date in MM/DD/YYYY format. |
Social Security | You must enter the patient's social security number. |
Description | You must enter all or part of the text in the Description field on the Edit Appointment window. |
Status | You can select one or more appointment statuses from the following:

Appointment Date | You must select a pre-defined appointment date range. When you select the appointment date, the value for the Beginning and Thru fields fills automatically.

Beginning /Thru | You can enter a custom appointment date range.
|
Event | You must select one or more appointment events. |
Resource | You must select one or more appointment resources. |
Class | You must select one or more classes, or resource groupings. |
Service Location | You must select one or more appointment locations.

Search by | You can select one of the following search options:

User Defined | You can select a user-defined field to search for appointments that are specific to the value entered in the user-defined field.
When you select the User-Defined value 1, 2, 3, or 4, you can enter the text in the field to the right. When you select the User-Defined value 5, 6, 7, or 8, you can select an item from the corresponding master list in the field to the right. |
Workflow Status | You can select one or more workflow statuses that are defined in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. |
Patient Group | You must select a patient group to limit the search results to include only appointments for patients in the selected group.

Confirmed | You must select this option to limit the search results to include only confirmed appointments. |
Deleted | You must select this option to limit the search results to include only deleted appointments. |
Retained | You must select this option to limit the search results to include only retained appointments. |
Rescheduled | You must select this option to limit the search results to include only the appointments that are rescheduled. |
Booked in Patient Portal | You must select this option to limit the search results to include only appointments that are booked from requests received from the NextGen® PxP Portal. |
Do not refresh lookup after updating appointments | You must select this option if you do not want the current list of appointments that match the search criteria to be updated after you access and modify one or more appointments in the list.
