Access Authorization from Encounter Insurance Selection Window
Access the Encounter Insurance Selection window for an encounter. In the Available Insurance section, select an insurance. Do one of the following: Select Open Menu and then select Authorization. Access Authorization from Insurance Maintenance Window
Select an insurance from one of the following: Modify Patient Information window. On the Insurance sub-tab under the Encounters tab in Patient Chart . Encounter Insurance Selection window. Do one of the following: Select Open Menu and then select Open Insurance Information. Right-click and then select Open Insurance Information. The Insurance Maintenance window opens. Access Authorization from Case Management Sub-Tab
Access the Patient Chart. Select the Patient Information tab and then the Case Management sub-tab. Select and open a case. The Case Management window opens. Select the Financial tab. In the Payers for this Case section, select an insurance. Do one of the following: Select Open Menu and then select Authorizations. Right-click and then select Authorizations. Modify an Insurance Authorization
From the Ins/Diag tab, select the authorization to be modified. Right-click and select Open Authorization. The Authorization Code Tracking window opens.
