Refund Vendor Matching Security Right Setup

Security rights in System Administrator control user access to refund vendor matching and refund transactions in NextGen® Enterprise PM. By default, user groups do not have access to vendor matching.
  1. In System Administrator, select a user group.
  2. On the Rights tab, expand OPERATIONSTransactions.
  3. Select Vendor Matching and set the Access Rights to Yes.
    Within a pending refund transaction in the Payment Entry window in NextGen® Enterprise PM, users will have access to the Vendor Matching Lookup button, Refund Name/Address section, and the View Chart button.
  4. To grant additional security rights to the user group, do the following:
    • To allow user groups to enter new refunds or modify fields, other than those in the Refund Name/Address section, select Rights > MODULES > Transactions > Transaction Adjustments/Refunds and select the Add and Update Access Rights. Users with only the Transaction Adjustments/Refunds permission will have access to refund information fields but cannot perform refund vendor matching unless the Vendor Matching security is set to Yes.
    • To allow users to delete refund transactions, select Rights > MODULES > Transactions > Transaction Adjustments/Refunds and select Delete Access Right.
  5. Select Save.
