Set Up Rights to Match Refund Vendors

Security rights in System Administrator control whether users can match refund vendors and refund transactions in NextGen® Enterprise PM. By default, user groups do not have access to vendor matching.

You must set the Task Approval Profile master files for refund transaction approvals. Task approval actions are recorded as a Task Field Modified significant event.

  1. In System Administrator, select a user group.
  2. On the Rights tab, expand OPERATIONS > Transactions.
  3. Select Vendor Matching, and for Access Rights, selectYes.
    Users can access the Vendor Matching Lookup button, the Refund Name/Address section, and the View Chart button for pending refund transactions in the Payment Entry window in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  4. To allow user groups to enter new refunds or modify fields other than those in the Refund Name/Address section, do the following:
    1. Select Rights > MODULES > Transactions > Transaction Adjustments/Refunds.
    2. Under Access Rights, select Add and Update.
    Users with the Transaction Adjustments/Refunds permission have access to refund information fields but cannot perform refund vendor matching unless they also have the Vendor Matching security right.
  5. To allow users to delete refund transactions, do the following:
    1. Select Rights > MODULES > Transactions > Transaction Adjustments/Refunds.
    2. Under Access Rights, select Delete.
  6. Select Save.
