To take advantage of the additional features of other software applications, you can export reports to different file formats. For example, with the format in:
- Excel: You can manipulate the data and save it as a chart or graph. Microsoft® Excel is a popular option for graphing because you cannot save a graphed report in the report Chart Designer or Wizard.
- HTML: You can distribute report data so that any recipient with an Internet browser can open and review the data.
- An ASCII file: The report data imported into it contains the raw, unformatted data of the report. You can then import this raw data into numerous other applications for manipulation and formatting.
Note: Some of the formatting can change after a report is exported to Excel or HTML. You might have to adjust the columns if they are too narrow in the exported file.
