Enterprise Level Significant Events Reference List

The following table describes the Enterprise Level significant events.

Field	Description
Address Changed through "Change of Address Update" Process	Tracks address changes that occur due to the Change of Address Update process in NextGen® Enterprise PM, File menu > Processes > Change of Address Update.
Client Defined <1-14>	Tracks changes made to the 14 client defined fields in the Modify Patient/Person Information window on the Client Defined tab. The event logs the client defined field name and its previous and current values for the Significant Events report. In the patient chart, the event is logged as <Field Name> from: <Previous Setting> to: <Current Setting> on the Clinical History/Notes tab > Chart Notes > History > Chart.
Demographics updated by External MPI system	Tracks demographic changes that occurred due to updates by an external MPI system.
Duplicate Person Screen Bypassed	Creates a person-level significant event when you do any one of the following on thePotential Duplicate Person window. When you select on the Ignore button, and then select OK when the confirmation message appears. When you close the Potential Duplicate Person window by selecting X on the upper-right corner or by another method, but then select OK on the message to confirm the changes for the duplicate person. If the user selects Cancel on the message, the person and significant event are not created. Selects the Override button to override the security that prevents some users from creating duplicate persons. This feature is controlled by the Create Duplicate Persons operations-level security right. The significant event tracks the names of the person created and the user who created the person. When a user overrides the security, the event adds the text The duplicate person screen was bypassed by overriding the security: <Last, First Names of the overriding user> in the Pre Mod column of the Significant Events report. The Pre Mod column is blank if user selects Ignore or x but still confirms the creation. Note: If a user selects a duplicate person from the list on the Potential Duplicate Person window, a significant event is not created.
Enterprise Batch Grouping Completed	Tracks when batch groupings are completed. When the last practice batch is posted in NextGen® Enterprise PM, the enterprise grouping is set to completed, and it is removed from view.
Enterprise Batch Grouping Created	Tracks when users create batch groupings. The significant event includes the practice that the grouping was created in and the user who created it.
Enterprise Batch Grouping Deleted	Tracks when users delete batch groupings.
Merge People	Records a person merge when the merge type is set to Enterprise and the database contains only one enterprise. You can view the event in NextGen® Enterprise PM in the following locations. In the Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab > Chart Notes > History > Encounters. On the Modify Patient Information window > History tab.
Page Deleted	Creates a NextGen® Document Management related significant event when a page from a document is deleted. The Page Deleted significant event appears only on the Significant Events report.
Page Hidden	Creates a NextGen® Document Management related significant event when a page is hidden from a document. The Page Hidden significant events appear only on the Significant Events report.
PHI Field Modified	Tracks changes in NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR to any Patient Health Information fields on the Person/Patient Information window > Demographics tab and the UDS fields on the Patient/Person Information window > UDS tab. The event is recorded as <Field name> Changed on the PM Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab > Chart Notes > History > Chart and on the Significant Events report. The report also tracks the previous and current selections for the fields. Note: This significant event does not track the following: The Community Cd, Comment, and Generate System Alert fields on the Demographics tab. The Sliding Fee Schedule Verification and Family Information sections on the Patient/Person Information window > UDS tab.
Practice Batch Added	Creates a NextGen® Document Management related significant event when a practice batch is added.
