Copy an Online Profile

You can make a copy of an existing profile and modify it to create a new online profile by: Adding or removing users and groups Changing the Do Not Reply option Open the Online Profiles window. Right-click the profile name, and then select Copy <profile name>. Note: You can also select the profile name and select Copy <profile name> from the Actions menu. A new profile opens in the left pane. Perform any or all of the following actions: Change the profile name. Add users or user groups that you want to designate as members of the profile. You can also search for users or user groups by typing the first, last, or the partial name in the Search user and groups field and selecting Search. To select all users and groups, right-click in the users and groups list, and then select Select All. To clear all check boxes for users and groups, right-click in the users and groups list, and then select Select None. Clear the check boxes for users and groups that you do not want to designate as membe

Add a New Online Profile

When you create a new profile, you can add users or groups of users to the profile. You can also apply the Do Not Reply feature to the profile. Open the Online Profiles window. Select Add Profile. You can also select New Online Profile from the Actions menu. A new profile opens with the default name New Online Profile. Perform the following actions: Enter a name for the profile. Select individual users or groups of users. You can also search for users if required . To select all users and groups, right-click in the users and groups list and select Select All. To clear all check boxes for users and groups, right-click in the users and groups list and select Select None. Select the Do not allow patients to reply check box to enable the Do Not Reply feature. Access Online Profiles

You can access Online Profiles from Patient Portal Master Files. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select Patient Portal, and then select Online Profiles. The Online Profiles window opens. Parent topic: Online Profiles

Delete a Profile from User Settings

To delete a profile, you must access the Practice Preferences Payment Processing window and the User Preferences window Payment Processing tab. Select on the Outlet IDs button. In Practice Preferences, select Payment Processing. The Payment Processing options display. Select the Outlet IDs button. The InstaMed Configuration window opens. In the Profile field, select the profile configuration that you want to delete. For example Main Office - 55555 Select Delete. Select Admin > Preferences > User > General > Payment Processing tab. The Payment Processing tab on the User Preferences window opens. In the Credit Card Profiles list, select the profile that you want to delete. Remove Attributes

In the Attributes section, select the required attribute. Select Remove. The attributes are removed from the Attributes section. Select OK. Parent topic: Attributes

Update a Communication Profile

You can change any of the communication profile settings. You should not use an existing profile name and profile description. On the Profiles window, select the profile. The properties for the selected profile appear in the Properties section. You can view the properties in a categorized or alphabetical list. If necessary, enter a new profile name in place of the current one in the Name box. Enter a new profile description in place of the current one in the Description box. This name also replaces the existing name in the Profiles section. Select Save. Select Close if you have completed all actions on the Profiles window. Parent topic: Communication Profiles
