Copy an Online Profile

You can make a copy of an existing profile and modify it to create a new online profile by: Adding or removing users and groups Changing the Do Not Reply option Open the Online Profiles window. Right-click the profile name, and then select Copy <profile name>. Note: You can also select the profile name and select Copy <profile name> from the Actions menu. A new profile opens in the left pane. Perform any or all of the following actions: Change the profile name. Add users or user groups that you want to designate as members of the profile. You can also search for users or user groups by typing the first, last, or the partial name in the Search user and groups field and selecting Search. To select all users and groups, right-click in the users and groups list, and then select Select All. To clear all check boxes for users and groups, right-click in the users and groups list, and then select Select None. Clear the check boxes for users and groups that you do not want to designate as membe

Delete an Online Profile

You can delete online profiles that you do not use. Access the Online Profiles window. Right-click the profile name, and then select Remove Online Profile. You can also select the profile name and select Remove Online Profile from the Actions menu. A confirmation message opens. Select Yes. The strikethrough formatting is applied to the profile name. Add a New Online Profile

When you create a new profile, you can add users or groups of users to the profile. You can also apply the Do Not Reply feature to the profile. Open the Online Profiles window. Select Add Profile. You can also select New Online Profile from the Actions menu. A new profile opens with the default name New Online Profile. Perform the following actions: Enter a name for the profile. Select individual users or groups of users. You can also search for users if required . To select all users and groups, right-click in the users and groups list and select Select All. To clear all check boxes for users and groups, right-click in the users and groups list and select Select None. Select the Do not allow patients to reply check box to enable the Do Not Reply feature. Online Profiles

An Online Profile works similar to an email distribution list. You can create a profile with a generic name and add users to the profile. This profile can then be selected in the From field, when composing, replying to, or forwarding messages in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM. When a patient replies to a message received from an online profile, all users belonging to the online profile will receive the message. You can also apply the Do Not Reply feature to an online profile so that patients cannot reply to the message. This setting can be managed in NextGen® Enterprise EHR or NextGen® Enterprise PM. Online Profiles
