Appointment Request Task
A clinician’s appointment instructions from NextGen® Enterprise EHR can be sent as an appointment request to the administrative employees during the NextGen® Enterprise PM checkout process. When an NextGen® Enterprise EHR template passes the appointment request data to NextGen® Enterprise PM, the process creates an Appointment Request task. For this process to work, you must set up the Appointment Request task type. NextGen® Enterprise PM users can access the task in Worklog or during AutoFlow in the Work Tasks dialog box and view the appointment request details. They can copy the appointment request data and paste it as a new appointment into the appointment book or they can book the appointment through appointment search ahead.
