Practice Preferences for the Patient Information Bar in NextGen® Enterprise PM

Field	Description
Show Patient Information Bar	Select this option to display the patient information bar in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select In Charge Entry to display the patient information bar in the Charge Posting window. Select In Payment Entry to display the patient information bar in the Payment Entry window
Patient Demographic Information	Select the demographic data that you want to display on the patient information bar.
Table	Select a table from which you want to add a field to the patient information bar.
Field	Select the field to display from the list.
Display Label	Enter the field label to display on the patient information bar.
Appointment Hover	Select the number of historical and future appointments to display when you hover over the Appointment section on the patient information bar.

The Patient Information Bar in practice preferences enable you to select whether the Patient Information Bar displays in the Patient Chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM and what patient information displays on the bar. You can also configure Practice Preferences to display the Patient Information Bar in Charge Entry and Payment Entry. Patient Demographic Information. From the Preference List, select Patient Information Bar, and then select PM tab. Select the Show Patient Information Bar check box. To display the Patient Information Bar on the Charge Posting, select the In Charge Entry check box. To display the Patient Information Bar on the Payment Entry, select the In Payment Entry check box. Define which information to display on the bar in the Patient Information section. Define which information to display on the bar in the Chart Link section.
