Customizing Standard Forms

Some forms that are standardized in the application, such as statements and encounter bills, can be customized to include a practice logo, practice address, and the types of credit cards accepted in the practice. For these customizations, you can: Import a practice logo into NextGen® Enterprise PM using Image Explorer. Designate the address for payments remitted to the practice in File Maintenance > Practices master file. Select the credit card accepted by the practice in Practice Preferences > Forms. Forms

You can create and modify templates to standardize patient forms that are used by your practice. The form templates determine the structure for patient forms, such as where certain information must be placed on the form. For example, if you have pre-printed fee tickets, you can set up a template to your specifications. You can create label templates for mailing labels, chart labels, form labels, or any other labels you need. To design your own forms, you need to access the Forms Templates master file from File Maintenance > System > Forms master file. Import a Logo for a Practice or Location

You can import a company logo in NextGen® Enterprise PM so that it prints in the header section of forms, including Fee Tickets, Patient Data Sheets, Encounter Bills, Statements, Budget Statements, Account Collection Letters, Encounter Collection Letters, Budget Letters, Forms, and Label Templates. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM, and select File > Tools > Image Explorer. In the Image Maintenance window, from NextGen Images, select Practices or Locations to expand, and then select Logos.All practices or locations are listed with their name and logo image status. Select the practice or location to import the logo. Right-click and select Import Image. From the Open window, browse to locate and select the logo image for the practice or location, and then select Open.The logo image is imported, and the status for the practice or location changes from Missing Image to Image Exists.

Import a Fee Ticket Image

Fee tickets in NextGen® Enterprise PM use a standardized header section and a standardized footer section. You can import an image for a customized body section, which prints between the header and footer, by using the Image Explorer tool in NextGen® Enterprise PM. You can import fee ticket images by using the Image Explorer tool at different levels: Practice: Fee ticket used by all providers in all locations within the practice. Practice/Provider: Fee ticket used by specific providers within the practice. Practice/Event/Provider: Fee ticket used by specific providers for specific types of appointments (events) within the practice. Practice/Location/Provider: Fee ticket used by specific providers at specific locations within the practice. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM, and select File > Tools > Image Explorer. Statement Logos for Practice and Location

A logo can be imported into NextGen® Enterprise PM for each Practice and/or Location. Logos are imported in NextGen® Enterprise PM, by selecting File > Tools > Image Explorer. For more information on importing logos, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the Practice Workflow Guide for NextGen® Enterprise PM and then refer to the Image Explorer section. When imported, either the practice logo or the location logo prints on individual demand statements and on batch statements. The logo that prints is determined by the Print One Statement setting on the Statement Options window. You can generate statements with a practice logo or location logo in the Statement Options window by selecting For Each Practice or For Each Location in the Print One Statement field, and then selecting Print or Export.
