Enable Multi-Channel Message Exports

To perform multi-channel message exports, you must enable the necessary permission in the Administrator settings. In the Administrator, select Settings from the Mirth® Connect panel. Select the Role-Based Access Control Settings tab. In the Enhancement Bundle section, select the Export Multi-Channel Messages check box to enable the permission. Search for Messages Across Channels

You can search from the Dashboard and Channel panels for messages across multiple channels. Do either of the following: On the Dashboard view, select multiple channels. Dashboard view with multiple channels selected On the Channels view, select multiple channels. Channels view with multiple channels selected From the Dashboard Tasks panel, select View Messages. Depending on configuration settings, a window appears to warn you that the query may take a long time depending on the number of channels and messages being searched. Select Yes to proceed with your search. The Multi-Channel Messages view appears. Multi-Channel Messages view Use the fields to set your message search criteria. For an advanced search, select Advanced to open the Advanced Search window where you can enter various IDs, content, and metadata filters to fine-tune your searches. (b)(10) Electronic Health Information (EHI) Export gives the user the capability to efficiently export single and multi-patient EHI in a secure and timely manner. Item Name Description A Name The name of the channel. Only alphanumeric (a-z / 0-9) characters, spaces, hyphens, and underscores are allowed. You can export channel messages using the Export Results window. When you select the Export Results task, an options window opens. Note that all messages matching the current search criteria are exported, not only the ones shown on the current page. Note that an XML serialized message is the only type that can be re-imported, and it includes all content across the message in a single XML file. Message Search Options

Message search options enable you to perform searches based on specific parameters. Because messages have so many distinguishing elements, Mirth® Connect provides numerous filters to help you configure well-targeted searches. To access these filters, on the page, select a channel, and in the panel, select the View Messages task. Image of message search filters. Item Name Description A Start/End Time Use the Calendar icons to populate these fields with the start/end dates of the desired messages. Use the Hour fields to restrict the search to a range of hours. Check the All Day box to include messages that started/ended at all hours of the day. B Regex Searches all textual message content that matches the regular expression pattern given in the Text Search field.
