Mark PAQ items as Read or Unread in the Pending tab

In the PAQ tab of the Pending tab, you can mark the PAQ items as read or unread. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. On Top Toolbar, select Inbox to open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab.In the Pending tab, the unread items appears in bold format. To mark the item as read or unread, do the following: To mark an item as read, select the item. To mark the item as unread, right-click the item and then select Mark as Unread. Note: You can mark a PAQ item as unread only after you upgrade NextGen® Enterprise EHR to the latest version. Only the PAQ items present in the Pending tab appear in bold. When you move a PAQ item from the Pending tab to the Rejected or History tab, the PAQ item does not appear in bold format. Parent topic: PAQ Tabs

PAQ Tabs

The PAQ contains the following tabs. Pending Lists the items for which approval by the selected provider is pending. Rejected List the items rejected by the selected provider. History Lists the items accepted, rejected, and reassigned by the selected provider. You can select an item on any tab to view the details of the item. If you have the view items across practices preference set up, you can use the Practice list to view the items from a particular practice. You can also select the type of items to view in the Items list. Note: You can select or clear all the item selections using the Select All check box on the PAQ tabs. The selection of items filter on the Pending or Rejected tab is retained for the other tab but you must make a separate selection of items for the History tab. If at least one item is not selected in the Items list, the Select All check box gets cleared. The last selected items filter is retained on all the PAQ tabs. Sign off PAQ Items without other Actions

You can sign off pending PAQ items on Worflow module without other actions. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab. In the Pending tab, select an item from the list. In the Items list, you can select or deselect all the items together using Select All check box. If you make a selection in either Pending or Rejected tab, the selection is saved for the other tab. You have to make separate selection for History tab. A preview of the item displays in the viewing pane. Information about the selected item appears beneath the list of items in the left pane. To display lab results in a different view, select one of the following beneath the results: Formatted Results Grid results Documents, images, or Urls To view the item in full on your screen, select Full Screen in the Workflow toolbar. View PAQ Items

In the NextGen® Mobile PAQ view, you can view the most-recent hundred items received from NextGen® Enterprise EHR Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) for your action. Open NextGen® Mobile. The Hub view opens. Select PAQ. The PAQ view displays a list of PAQ items sorted by date, with the most-recently added item appearing at the top. Each PAQ item displays with the patient name, date of birth (DOB) and age, item type, description text, date and time of the item creation, and the note PAQ note icon icon, if a note is attached. To view the specific PAQ items, select Filter icon, and then turn on or turn off the appropriate items. You can view your PAQ items in landscape mode by rotating your device horizontally. Note: You must turn off Portrait Orientation Lock in your device. Optional: To search for the PAQ items, select Search icon, and then enter the search criteria. When you sign off a pending PAQ item, you can also execute saved actions or create new actions. You can save the actions for future use. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab. In the Pending tab, select an item from the list. In the Items list, you can select or deselect all the items together using Select All check box. If you make a selection in either Pending or Rejected tab, the selection is saved for the other tab. You have to make separate selection for History tab.
