You can use the Device Edit option to view a draft of the recorded dictation return to your mobile device for review and editing.
Open NextGen® Mobile.
Open a dictation job, and then record the dictation.
From the edit options, select Device Edit.
To send the dictation, select Send.
When the job is ready, in Hub, select Ready for Review.
The job appears in the Ready For Review view.
To edit, select the job from the list.
The Draft Review view opens displaying the dictation text.
You can view the patient details and the sections listed, and then review the transcription.
To edit the dictation text, select and hold a word to select it.
The text is highlighted and the editing toolbar and keyboard appear.
To insert the cursor into a text to allow character level editing, select and hold the text.
Use the functions on the editing toolbar to make changes to the text.
To listen to the audio of your dictation while editing, select audio next to the section tag heading.
The audio playback controller appears.
To use the standard audio controls, do the following:
To move the playback controller around the editing view, select and drag it to the desired location.
To minimize the controller, select .
To reveal the larger controller again, select .
To close the controller, select .
After you finish reviewing and editing your transcription, do one of the following:
To send the transcription to NextGen® Enterprise EHR, select Send to EHR from the edit options.
To send the transcription to a transcription team for editing, and delivering to NextGen® Enterprise EHR, select Send to Transcription from edit options.
If you select Send to Transcription, you can select to mark the transcription as STAT priority before sending.
