Add a Recall Plan from the Appointment Lookup Window
On the main toolbar, select the ApptList button. The Appointment Lookup window opens. Enter the appropriate Search Criteria to locate an appointment for the patient. Select Find. Add a Duplicate Recall Plan
A patient can have multiple occurrences of the same recall plan, if needed. For example, a patient may need recalls for two different procedures. A single “Procedure” recall plan can be used for both, each with a different return date, event, resource and/or location. Open the Recall Plan Maintenance window of the patient. In the Available field, select to select a Recall Plan that already exists for the patient. Select a Return Date, Last Date, Event, Resource and Location for the duplicate recall. To save changes and close the window, select OK. The following prompt displays: The selected plan is already active for this patient. Do you want to add this plan to the patient again? Add or Update Recall Plans from Reports
Recall Plans for patients can be added or updated in batch mode from the following reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM: General > Patient Recall General > Patient Chart Demographics General > Patient Chart Demographics with Providers Daily > Charges Daily > Charges By Current User Patients listed on the report that do not have an active recall of the selected type will get a new recall plan added. Patients listed on the report that do have an active recall of the selected type will get their existing recall plan updated. Note: Each patient listed on the report is counted as a single “source”. Therefore, if a patient is listed twice on the report, the number of “sources” displayed in the prompts below will be less than number shown on the report. From the Reports menu, select one of the above reports. The Report Filter window opens. Filter the report to include the desired patient population and select OK. The Report Preview window opens. On the report toolbar, select the New Recall Plan

View a Recall Plan from the Appointment Book
From the Appointment Book, highlight the patient’s appointment. Right-click on the appointment and select Recall from the menu. The Patient Recall window displays existing recalls for the patient. Parent topic: View Recall Plans

Modify a Recall Plan from the Appointment Book
From the Appointment Book, highlight the patient’s appointment. Right-click on the appointment and select Recall from the menu. The Patient Recall window displays existing recalls for the patient. Select the recall to be modified, and then do one of the following: Select the Open Menu button and select Open from the menu. Right-click and select Open from the menu. Select the Open button.
