RVU is an index that measures the relative amount of resource costs (work, professional, liability, and practice expense) that go into providing each service offered by a physician.
- Open File Maintenance and then select .
The RVU Library List window opens.
- Select the open menu button
to add or open an existing RVU library.
The RVU Library Maintenance window opens.
- Enter a library name.
- You can rename RVU labels in the Labels tab of the RVU Library Maintenance window.
- To enter individual RVUs, locate the CPT4 code you want to associate them with.
Note: You can import RVUs into a library.
- After the CPT4 codes are listed, enter the RVU values in the corresponding cells for each CPT4 row, and then select OK.
