Configure USPS API Real-Time Address Validation for a Practice

Before you begin

If you do not have a business account, you must create a business account as part of the USPS registration requirement. Additionally, you must obtain Consumer Key and Secret values. For more information on creating a business account and retrieving Consumer Key and Secret values, visit USPS API Getting Started.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice.
  3. In the Practice Preferences window, from Preferences List, select External.
  4. In USPS Address Validation, select the Enable Practice Registration checkbox.
  5. Enter the Consumer Key and Secret values.
