Change Preferences	NextGen® Enterprise PM & Report Server	Enables users to save changes to NextGen® Background Business Processor Preferences accessed from the File menu.
Change Server Availability	NextGen® Enterprise PM & Report Server	Enables users to make NextGen® Background Business Processor servers available or unavailable from the Server List tab.
Delete Package History	NextGen® Enterprise PM & Report Server	Enables users to clear all package history displayed on the History List tab. Package history information includes job name, job number, last run date and time, result, and duration.
Install BBP Engine Service	NextGen® Enterprise PM & Report Server	Enables users to install or uninstall the BBP Engine Service by using the Engine menu.
Kill Running Package	NextGen® Enterprise PM & Report Server	Enables users to stop a package on the Package List tab from running.
Launch BBP Manager	NextGen® Enterprise PM & Report Server	Enables users to start BBP Manager. Note: This right does not control the display of the BBP icon on the Application Launcher; it only controls the ability to open BBP.

Configure NextGen® Background Business Processor Security Rights

For each group of users who access NextGen® Background Business Processor, you can set Module and Operation rights that control what actions the group of users is permitted to perform in System Administrator. In System Administrator, highlight the user group for which you want to set rights. Select the Rights tab. Expand the Modules folder. Locate and expand the Background Business Processor folder. The following rights are available: Jobs: Allows users to create and modify NextGen® Background Business Processor jobs. Packages: Allows users to create and modify NextGen® Background Business Processor packages. The NextGen® Background Business Processor Engine Service is a program that runs in the background on the computer on which it is installed. Its job is to regularly query the NextGen database to determine if there are any packages to run on the server. To execute the requested processes, the NextGen® Background Business Processor Engine Service launches modules of the NextGen® Enterprise PM application or the Report Server behind the scenes to perform the needed tasks. For example, if you use the NextGen® Background Business Processor Manager to set up pending paper claims to print automatically every day at 3:00 PM, the NextGen® Background Business Processor Engine Service sees the NextGen® Background Business Processor setting recorded in the NextGen database.
