The Message Manager View tab in the Workflow module gives you quick information about messages that are currently waiting in NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine, including: Statistics about pending messages Transaction history Contents of individual messages The Message Manager View tab appears in the Workflow module only if you have met the necessary prerequisites. You can configure preferences to specify whether orphaned items and transaction history are displayed, as well as the maximum number of detail rows to display. To resolve any of the pending messages, you can also use the Message Manager View tab to open the NextGen® Clinical Message Manager application . You can correct messages and match them to a patient's chart. Access NextGen® Clinical Message Manager Application

After viewing message statistics, message details, or transaction history, you can run the NextGen® Clinical Message Manager to view further message details or to process and correct a message so it can be imported. On the Message Manager View tab, select the Clinical Message Manager . If the NextGen® Clinical Message Manager is already running on your current Microsoft® Windows® session, a warning message appears. Select OK and use the Windows Taskbar to switch to the NextGen® Clinical Message Manager application. Otherwise, the NextGen® Clinical Message Manager opens.
