Note: This Employer Addition operation right is different from the Employer module right listed under File Maintenance. The Employer module right enables users to create new employers and modify them in the Employer master file and create and modify them “on the fly” from the Patient demographics window.
Employer Insurance Addition	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to add insurance information to an employer in the Employer master file.
Enterprise History	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to access the Enterprise History tab on the Patient Information window to view changes made to the demographics and to the Client Defined enterprise fields.
Medical Record Number Maintenance	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to change a patient's Medical Record Number.
People Lookup	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to use the Lookup toolbar button to search for patients and guarantors.

Re-sequence Phone Numbers	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to change the order of telephone numbers listed in the patient demographics that indicate the order to use when someone contacts a patient.
Seal Chart Notes	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to "seal" patient chart notes so that they cannot be deleted or modified.
Secure Lookup	NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables users to access the Secure DOB and L4DSSN fields on the Person/Patient Lookup window to search for patients by using the birth date or by using the last four digits of the SSN. You can set this right only when the secure lookups are enabled. See, secure lookups are enabled.
Unseal Chart Notes	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to unseal chart notes. After the chart note is unsealed, it can be deleted.
USPS Address Validation	NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables users to perform real-time validation in NextGen Enterprise.

Enable Secure Lookup Feature

When the secure lookup feature is enabled, users can perform secure lookups by entering a person's birth date or Social Security number. A search that uses the L4DSSN or secure Birth Date field shows results from within the current MPI at the system level. If the NextGen application is set for single MPI, secure lookups are already enabled by default. If the application is set for multiple MPI, you must enable the feature. Enabling the feature can affect both generic and secure searches. For example: The access to person demographics is limited to just the practice level for generic lookups (regardless of the MPI definition). When the MPI is defined at the enterprise level, enabling the secure lookup features limits the result sets of generic lookups (non-secure lookups) to just the demographics belonging to the practice that the user is logged in to. By establishing and assigning practices to associations, the associated practices' demographic records are still included regardless of
