Patient Data Collected
Although the procedure to add patients is the same, the data collected by NextGen® Enterprise EHR, NextGen® Enterprise PM, and NextGen® Optical Management differs, as shown in the following table.

Pharmacy | You can enter up to two preferred pharmacies for a patient. Pharmacy information includes name, address, phone and fax numbers. The information is saved for established patients with an existing chart, and for new patients when the chart is created. Chart Details | You can enter additional information for a patient's chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The tab includes up to 8 user-defined fields that can be set up in Practice Preferences and then used to collect patient information that is not already a standard field within the application. The tab also includes default rendering and referring providers, and marketing plan information for the patient. The information is saved for established patients with an existing chart, and for new patients when the chart is created.
