Workflow User: A user who is mapped in Site Generator with a unique user ID from NextGen System Administrator. If you would like to set up a question to have no dropdown menus, it is recommended to use NextGen Admin as workflow user.
Advantages of using the workflow user:
- Less maintenance for practice.
- Though any provider or staff member could be configured as a workflow user for a question, if that user leaves the organization, the practice would be required to re-configure who is assigned the question in Site Generator. NextGen Admin is mapped to user id 0 and will remain in System Administrator indefinitely unless otherwise noted by the practice.
Note: The value of 0 mapped for the NextGen Admin corresponds to userID of the admin user in the NextGen system.
