Update Your Profile in NextGen® Patient Self-Scheduling Powered by Luma

Before you begin Ensure that you have the appropriate licenses to modify and customize the relevant features. You can update your name, email, phone number, photo, and password in your profile for NextGen® Patient Self-Scheduling powered by Luma. Open your Luma Dashboard. Select the patient profile icon, and then select Mission Control. The Home tab opens on the Mission Control page. Select My Account, and update the necessary information in Profile and Contact Information. In Security, select from Roles, Provisioning, and Groups. To turn on two-factor authentication, do the following: Select Set up 2FA. In Set up two-factor authentication (2FA), select the appropriate option, select Verification Code, and then select Confirm. To update notification preferences, turn on the appropriate options in the following sections, and then select Save. Personalize Communication for Patients and Practice Staff

Administrators can configure a custom message to automatically send messages and notifications to patients and staff when an appointment is created or updated. Administrators can also configure notifications for patients about upcoming regular and follow-up appointments, past procedures, and diagnoses newly added to their profiles. Open your Luma Dashboard. Select the patient profile icon, and then select Mission Control > Utilities > Custom Actions. The list of existing custom messages appear. To add a customized message, select Add new action, and then select Appointment. You can also select Recall, Procedure, Diagnostic, or Extra Reminder to configure the relevant actions. In the New Appointment Action window, enter the title, and then select theActive checkbox to activate the action. In Action, select Message a Patient or Notify the Staff, and then enter your message. Update the Patient Checklist and Staff Review Status

You can resend, replace, and edit the checklist attached to the appointment and update the staff review status for the appointment. You can also view, add, and edit the appointment notes. Open your Luma Dashboard. Do one of the following: Select Schedule. Select Coordination > Schedule. In Schedule, select Table from the Day list next to Filters.The appointments appear in a table. Select the necessary appointment menu "", and then select View appointment Details.You can also open the appointment details panel by selecting the appointment Status, Pt. Payments, Notes, Appt. Create and Update User Groups

To obtain access to patient data in NextGen® Patient Self-Scheduling powered by Luma, each user must assigned to a security group associated with the necessary features. Open your Luma Dashboard. Select the patient profile icon, and then select Mission Control > Security Center > Groups. Select Create a new group. In the Create new group window, do the following: In Title, enter the group name. Select the All Facilities checkbox or select the necessary features in Details, and then select Create group. To edit an existing group, select the necessary group menu icon, update the necessary details, and then select Save. Optional: To delete a group, do the following: Select the corresponding group Users, select all users, select the menu icon, and then select Remove from group. Select Security Center > Groups. Select the corresponding group menu icon, select Delete group, and then select Yes, delete group.

Generate Reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM That List Appointments Scheduled through NextGen Patient Self-Scheduling Powered by Luma

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the main toolbar, select Reports > Scheduling > Appointment Listing. In the NextGen Report Filter: Appointment Listing window, do the following: From Setting List, select the Filter 1 tab, and then select the date range from Appt Date. From Setting List, select the Filter 2 tab, and then enter Like and Luma in Details. Select OK to generate the report.

Prerequisites for Sending the NextGen Virtual Visits™ Link to Patients through NextGen® Patient Engage powered by Luma

To send a virtual visit link through NextGen® Patient Engage powered by Luma to patients, your practice must meet the minimum requirements and configure properly. When a virtual visit appointment is scheduled in NextGen Virtual Visits™, NextGen® Patient Engage powered by Luma collects the patient-specific virtual visit URL and sends to patients 30 minutes and 5 minutes before the appointment time through a text message or email. To send virtual visit links through NextGen® Patient Engage powered by Luma, you must have the following applications installed and configured in your system: NextGen® Enterprise 6.2021 or NextGen® Enterprise 8.
