Set Up Multiple Profiles and Outlet IDs for Payment Processing
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preference > Practice. The Practice Preferences window opens. Select Payment Processing from the Preference List. In the Credit Card Processor field, select InstaMed. Select Outlet IDs. The InstaMed Configuration window opens. Enter a new profile name, and then select Add. A message appears confirming the addition of the new configuration, and indicating that the new profile is added to the Profile list. Select OK. On the InstaMed Configuration window, enter the following details. All the fields are required to fill in. Enter the description for the device, for example Front Desk - Ingenico. The description is the name of the outlet and displays in the Using Outlet field when processing a payment in Payment Entry. Enter Swipe MID, Non-Swipe MID, Terminal ID, and Store ID. You can enter the details supplied by NextGen® Pay powered by InstaMed. Enter Device Profile. You can enter the name of the device. Note: The device profile is always requir

Set Up User Preferences for Credit Card Processing
The profile configuration is generated from the details entered on the InstaMed Configuration window in Practice Preferences Payment Processing. The profile that is selected for the user is the default profile of the user. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > User > General The User Preferences window opens. Select the Payment Processing tab. To link a workstation with a profile, under Credit Card Profiles, select open menu and then select New. The User Credit Card Profiles Setup window opens. In Profiles, select the applicable profiles and then select Save. The Profile configuration is added to the Credit Card Profiles list. To activate a profile, select the Profile in the Credit Card Profiles list, and then select OK. Note: Only one profile can be activated at a time and the activated profile is set as the default profile for the user and appears first on the Payment Entry window. Delete a Profile from User Settings
To delete a profile, you must access the Practice Preferences Payment Processing window and the User Preferences window Payment Processing tab. Select on the Outlet IDs button. In Practice Preferences, select Payment Processing. The Payment Processing options display. Select the Outlet IDs button. The InstaMed Configuration window opens. In the Profile field, select the profile configuration that you want to delete. For example Main Office - 55555 Select Delete. Select Admin > Preferences > User > General > Payment Processing tab. The Payment Processing tab on the User Preferences window opens. In the Credit Card Profiles list, select the profile that you want to delete.
