Configure the Pre-visit Checklist for Patients

As a practice administrator, you can configure specific pre-visit checklists for existing and new patients.

Before you begin

You must configure the patient demographic, standard consent, insurance, and payment forms with the necessary fields.
  1. Open your Luma Dashboard.
  2. Select the patient profile "" icon, and then select Mission Control > Utilities > Checklist Builder.
    The list of existing checklists appears.
  3. Select Add Checklist, and enter a name for the checklist.
  4. Under Checklist Items, in Checklist Item 1, do the following:
    1. Search for and select the configured patient information form, and then select the Pt. Demographics category.
    2. Enter the form name as Your demographic information.
  5. Under Your Demographic Information, do the following:
    1. Select Add checklist item, and then in Checklist Item 2, search for and select the configured standard consent and policy form.
    2. Select the Consent/Legal category, and then enter the form name as Your Consent.
  6. Under Your Consent, do the following:
    1. Select Add checklist item, and then in Checklist Item 3, search for and select the form configured to capture insurance information.
    2. Select the Insurance category, and then enter the form name as Your Insurance.
  7. Under Your Insurance, do the following:
    1. Select Add checklist item, and then in Checklist Item 4, search for and select the configured co-pay and balance payment form.
    2. Select the Pt. Payments category, and then enter the form name as Your Payment.
    3. In Default form status, select Disabled to make the appointment payment option available to patients after the staff review, and then select Create Checklist.
